When used in electronic products, it can also effectively shield electromagnetic waves, isolate electromagnetic waves from harm to the human body, and prevent unnecessary voltage and current from affecting the normal use of electronic products. Aluminum foil tape is commonly used in various electronic products such as transformers, laptops, computers, mobile phones, PDP, PDA, LED displays, copiers, etc., which is to play its electromagnetic shielding function. It can be used outside the steam duct to avoid temperature loss. The aluminum foil tape is made of polyester fiber, which is not easy to crack and damage after repeated use or multiple bending. It can be easily wound on the wire, and can also be cut into various specifications according to customer requirements.
Precautions for use of aluminum foil adhesive tape
Before using the aluminum foil tape, clean all the substrates to be used, and remove the floating ash and stains. Generally, when using electronic products, do not wipe them with water or a wet cloth, but clean them with a dry cloth or dry brush. After cleaning, tear off the aluminum foil tape for operation. The aluminum foil tape is made of high-quality pressure-sensitive adhesive, which has a very strong viscosity. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the position to be connected, otherwise, it will be troublesome to tear it off again when it is crooked. After pasting, press repeatedly on the aluminum foil tape with your fingers several times to make the adhesive layer play a full role and bond firmly enough. If there is excess glue on the edge of the tape, use a blade to carefully remove it.
Difference between aluminum foil adhesive tape and other tapes
Aluminum foil tape is made of high-quality pressure-sensitive adhesive, with good viscosity, strong adhesion, anti-aging, and good heat preservation function. Therefore, it is commonly used for wrapping cold (hot) gas pipelines and is very useful in the field of cold and heating engineering, especially in the production of water heaters and refrigerators. The differences between the aluminum tape and other tapes are mainly summarized in the following three aspects:
- The base material of the aluminum foil tape is a soft polymer resin plate, which not only reduces the plate-making cost but also shortens the plate-making cycle compared with the concave masking paper tape printing. Due to the improvement of the plate manufacturing level and plate-making technology, the screen plate can now reach the level of 175 lines, which is enough to meet the needs of general packaging and printing.
- The anilox roller is used to transfer the ink for the aluminum foil tape. As the anilox roller is both the ink transfer roller and the ink metering roller, it realizes the same short ink path as the gravure printing, and can accurately supply the ink according to the process requirements. At present, the cermet anilox roller with laser engraving can reach the level of 1600 lines, which provides a favorable means for accurately controlling the ink color and ink layer thickness.
